No New Posts   Infamous using the axe.

February 7, 2011

Infamous.jpg

Sewell, NJ, February 7th, 2011, Empire Paintball. Empire Paintball announced today that Infamous will be shooting the Empire AXE marker in 2011. In addition to shooting the AXE, the team will be head to toe Empire.

…“This has been a long time coming – a performance tournament marker from Empire is sick,” said Nicky Cuba of LA Infamous. “The Empire team has been pumping out sweet gear, loaders, and masks for years, it’s only natural that they would deliver a kick-a$! marker.”

“Let me Axe you a question…you want to get chopped down? You gonna say, no, no, not me – then stop your foolin’ and break down the door with the new AXE,” said LA Infamous’, Todd Martinez.

Marcello Margott of Infamous said, “I use the AXE for one reason…to chop down my competition. Seriously, the ball flight, accruracy, and gentleness on paint has been epic.”

Last week, Empire Paintball announced that Sacramento XSV would also be shooting the AXE Marker for the season.
• Extended grip and trigger frame and ergonomic grip for maximum comfort
• Smooth and stable firing platform with feather light kick
• Easy maintenance with unique push-button bolt out back design
• Adjustable bearing trigger with micro-switch activation
• On/Off ASA with integrated pressure regulator

“Infamous has been an Empire team from day one, and we couldn’t be prouder that they have chosen to shoot the AXE marker,” said Jason A. Taitano, VP of Marketing. “The team’s feedback on the gun has been that it is hands down a winner. Infamous has so much experience and talent, and now having both them and XSV shooting the marker sets the stage for a big year for Empire.”

August 20, 2010

http://68caliber.com/?p=12443 "White Hats LLC, a limited liability company formed in 2010 through the acquisition of the assets and intellectual property holdings of several existing paintball companies has entered into an exclusive arrangement with secured creditors to purchase all of the assets of Smart Parts Inc., including intellectual property, machinery, finished goods and etc. Smart Parts Inc., filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection in May of 2010 and recently petitioned to convert to Chapter 7 (liquidation). White Hats LLC’s purchase of these assets will forestall the need for a liquidation auction. No New Posts   Impulse+$500=luxe

February 1, 2011

DLX Offers Impulse Trade In

DLX Technology Group offers $500 trade-in value to players who move up from a 2009 Smart Parts Impulse to the ultimate luxury paintball marker.

For Immediate Release – For a limited time, owners of a complete (working or not) recent model year Smart Parts Impulse can trade their marker in to DLX Technology Group for a value of $500 dollars off the factory-direct purchase of a DLX Luxe.

“Because of our parts manufacturing relationship with Smart Parts, we were able to obtain the remaining stock of Impulse parts when they closed their doors, and we’ve been providing service and support for Impulse owners,” said DLX Director Darryl Trent. “That part supply is now running thin, and this trade in program will provide a path for Impulse owners to upgrade to a top performing, ultra-reliable and easy to maintain Luxe paintball marker. The trade-up program will also help us re-stock with components to continue supporting players who stay with their Impulse.”

The Impulse trade-in program begins February first, 2011 and will continue only until a sufficient part supply is re-stocked at DLX, so interested Impulse owners will need to act quickly. Only 2009 model year (the recent re-designed re-release of the Impulse) are eligible for the upgrade offer. Trade-in participants do not need to be the original owner of the Impulse. If the marker was bought used or traded, it is still eligible for the full trade-in value. Trade-in markers do not need to be working, but they must be complete, with all of their original parts. For markers with a few minor missing parts (bolt, eye-cover, etc.) a reduced discount may be negotiated on a case by case basis at the sole discretion of DLX Technology Group.

No New Posts   NXe Jrny for sale!

January 14, 2011

Some of you have seen this recently come onto the market. It was developed a LONG time ago by NXe and they couldn't sell it because of some money things, not too sure. Well when tippmann bought out NXe, they were finally able to get the JRNY's to stores and distributors.

Let me just say that they are a OK hopper. In my opinion i would never use this hopper. It popcorns horribly and i advise you to say away from it. Just incase you are thinking of it.

No New Posts   NXE sold its NXe Paintball division to Tippmann Sports

January 3, 2011

NXE today announced it has sold its NXe Paintball division to Tippmann Sports.

John Bosch President and CEO of NXE commented: "The sale of NXe paintball to Tippmann Sports is both a happy day as well as a sad day for us. The paintball division was our baby and we have had great success within the industry. It was very important to us to that future of NXe will continue to be nurtured and built with the same passion and commitment we have here. That is why the only company we would even consider to offer our company to was and is Tippmann. Tippmann has the same values and commitment as well as the integrity, credibility and passion to be the very best at what they do. Tippmann will be able to take NXe to new heights, which was also very important to us. From that regard we could not be happier.

As a company we are officially launching our new NXE consumer electronics line at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January. We are extremely confident that this direction is a very positive step for our company and for all of our employees. You can learn more about NXE products by visiting our web site www.nxeproducts.com , on Facebook, or on our Twitter page. We hope all of our paintball related consumers who have supported NXE will continue to support us and also find our new consumer electronics products as cutting edge, innovative, and of course the best of the best in quality.

We will work closely with the Tippmann team to ensure a smooth transition so all of the Tippmann and NXe customers who are accustomed to the best service and support in the business will continue to receive that commitment. In closing let me say we would like THANK the entire paintball community for all of the support, friendship, and dedication - not only to NXe, but to the sport and game we all love and are passionate about. I would also like to thank our customers and consumers, who have supported us over the years, and moving forward, will keep NXe as the top soft goods brand in the industry. We have made friendships that will last long past the last ball being shot, and that is a testament to this industry, and sport, and the people who are a part of it. As you know we have sponsored hundreds and hundreds of teams over the years from all over the world. We would also like to thank a few of these teams who became part of our family and was with us from the beginning.

Avalanche, Joy Division, Impact, Aftermath, Strange, Rage and of course our Dynasty boys.

Thank You,

The NXE family.

No New Posts   "Build it and they still won't come"

December 8, 2010

So I was surfing around the paintball communities and found an small article that stuck in my head, I read it on - http://www.paintballnews.com/magazine/ - I'll type it all out since I can't cut and paste an AFP file.... On a personal note: I like pump paintball that's why I'm posting this. "Build it and they will come. So says a very memorable line from the "Field of Dreams" movie, in that movie , they build a baseball field, and magically baseball players from days gone by show up to play and relive their younger years. I guess in the movies anything can happen, but when attempted in real life, be prepare for disappointment. I'm in dire need of getting this off of my chest as this has been eating at me, so bear with me as I spit it out. Recently the NEPL (New England Paintball League) wanted to start a Pump Division, and a simple question was asked to the MCB, (mcarterbrown.com) paintball forums and community: If we had a pump division, would you participate in it? Sure enough many pages of people proclaiming how fantastic the idea was and how they would show up and play if it was to come to fruition. Fast forward a few months later, Boston Paintball stayed true to their word. When the ran the pump league for the first time in Event 4, only five teams showed up. Not fantastic, but it was short notice. Another month and a half will be Event 5 and the B.O.N.E. (Best of New England) event. Event 5 closed out and only three teams were willing to play, not enough to even hold an event, so it was cancelled. I was extremely disappointed in the pump playing community. To me it wasn't about winning or losing, it was about trying to promote pump play for future players. Here was our chance to give what people have been begging fields to do for years, and when the moment came, no one thought about the bigger picture. I can only hope that Boston Paintball will try again in spring with a new year, and players flush with enthusiasm and hope and hope that they can promote pump play. If not, don't complain about lack of options. You have no one left to blame."

APP, a good charity, lots of paint, and lots of sucke...erm...people to shoot! Tim runs a good field out there so lets show some support for his field and a good cause.
