I need help which gun to buy and what type of clothes i need. i was thinking about getting a tippman x7 phenom. i am more of a lay back and wait player or "sniper" as some people call it. woodsball is my game not x ball or "fast ball". also do you know of any leauges ofr teams i can join. THANKS!!!!!
My first gun was a Phenom and it works great. Problem is most reputable fields wont let you use the auto feature. I later purchased a Planet ETEK 3 which I love and adore. Most fields allow the ramp mode (acts like auto but it semi mode) and that is more than enough paint to throw. Depends on what you like, your size, your abilities and so on. For me, my Phenom sits at home or I bring for a back up, but I love my PE ETEK 3 (of coarse semi BBBS off). Hopefully you get some other posts to weigh the differences in styles and guns. Any electronic will give you the ability to "walk" your trigger and are upgradeable to better triggers. Not so easy with the Phenom.
I have a ETEK 3 and it is a great starter gun. You can play at the field or in the woods. There is a game on Saturday if you would like to try a few guns before you buy. I will have my ETEK and hopefully my new GEO of you would like to shot them. Welcome hope to see you out playing.
Tippmanns are always great starters. GoG paintball (aka smart parts) is a good starter. ETEK is good. empire axe is good. Many many different types of markers out there and different price points
It's all about the price that you are willing to spend. For your style You can try a pump or pistol. I started with an A-5 but put that down when I found an EGO. Now all the A-5 does is sit. A X-7 is a good marker. I think that you are on the right track for woodsball. And there is a game this sat like Viper said. All are welcome.
