THIS MARKER CAUGHT MY EYE A WHILE BACK. I'M GLAD TO SEE IT'S FINALLY HERE I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS GUN WITH THE METADYNE LAUNCHER ATTACHED. WELL.... HERE IT IS FOR THOSE OF YOU GUYS THAT HAVE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE. ANGEL FINALLY MADE A SCENARIO MARKER.
They are really over engineered. In my opinion. They are only getting heavier compared to the guns getting smaller and lighter and more simpeler. I dunno about this new design, it's changed from the A1 fly. There is no more roto breech. The flys were a bit temperamental. And if you wanted them to be reliable you had to do some mods like super gluing some internals.
Angel had some great markers. I enjoyed mine just hated servicing and repairing it. And the pricing for them is just insane. That marker should be just $399
Not to bump this old thread. But I have recently looked into purchasing one of these. I am glad to say that there is a good chance I am going to get it. All the reviews on this gun, were 9/10 or 10/10. I think what they have done is completely blown the other companies out of the water. This is a gat that I can use for scenario one day, with a scope, apex, gernade launcher, stock and whatever other scenario ups I want. Then I can take it off and roll with the speedballers. The Mojo board and specs are epic. I have never thought of getting an angel because of all the crap people talk. But I want one and I think they are clean, sexy markers!!
Still way to much money. And the crap talk is there for a reason. If you put out a marker that is easy and reliable then you will get good reviews, I have an Angel LCD in my garage and it makes a Great paperweight!
@Ookro: You really can't make factual comparisons to the LCD, to the AR:K. That is like saying that the DM3 is worthless and so the dm11 is. I mean the LCD was released in like 2000? I mean that is older then the dm3, ya its bulk and crap compared to other guns.It has great review because when it came out in the year 2000, it was an awesome gun. lol But its 11 years old. Look at all guns from that era and compare them to their new counterparts, of course they will be crap to them. As for the cost of this gun, it is less then the cost of the New Egos and DMs; I would confidently say could hope its own against them. I would much rather get this gun, then pay a few hundred more and a main stream popular gun like ego/dm. Those guns are just over glorified because more pro teams play with them or people have never actually taken the time to own and play with an angel. I have never owned and angel, I have owned a ego 7, dm6, pm8, a bob long vice and many other guns. Then I shoot Macks Angel from LVPP and fell in love. It was like butter in my hand, the feel, the board. So I had to get one. These guns are awesome, they are just under rated. But hey if I end up getting this gun, and I see you at one of the game I will let you try it out. That way you to can understand the awesomeness of Angel.
@Chaz: Lol its a paintball gun, I am not really worried about weight. haha Though I will probably run a marco line through it or use my 13 in 3000 tank, sense its air efficiently is amazing.
No kidding!!!! Get a Luxe if you want good air efficiency. You just do not see angels out there that much anymore. Maybe they will make a comeback. But like Peet said... Way over engineered. Shoot what you want. I will stick with my marker.
