Take your SATs as soon as you can, and make sure to submit the scores to Purdue or wherever you want to go. I got into engineering with an SAT of 1050, and that was the second time I took it (though it was back in 1999, so I don't know if the requirements have changed). I didn't stay in engineering, but it is a great school at Purdue. Talk to your counselor at your school, and do the application as soon as possible. And you need to start NOW filling out scholorship applications, even if you don't think you qualify, because you never know, and it's free $$$ for college.

anyone know if they have one of the west to east coast or vice versa scholarships for the school bc what im planning is to do all my core classes out here in nevada with a millinum scholarship then do the engineering and career classes through somewhere like Purdue or west Lafayette
Purdue is in West Lafayette, IN. Go to www.purdue.edu and look for scholorships, or you can set up a phone meeting with a student advisor there, and they can answer your questions. Also, talk to the counselor at your high school, they can get info on scholorships and finanacial aide for you. And make sure that the classes you take here in NV will transfer to Purdue, because I have seen that happen where credits will not transfer schools.
