My 2 boys and I are getting into paintball, both at fields and at our cabin in Utah. We have purchased a good portion of what we need and only have a few things left we need, but since I am a noobie, thought I would let some more knowledgible people let me know if I am going in the right direction. Just keep in mind, I am trying not to have to get a second mortgage for this, but also do not want to be replacing things in a year if we are still doing it.
Here is what we have so far:
2 09 Spyder Electra's with eyes 1 09 Pirahna Rampage GTI Plus 2 VL Force Electronic Hoppers 3 JT Masks 1 Scuba tank and scuba fill station (for use at the cabin) Pods belts etc
Still need 3 tanks and one hopper
You can't hurt my feelings, so any comments suggestions are welcome.
Pirahna and spyders are more of a " I dont play much " guns, if they get more into it i reccomend a proto slg, you can even find them pretty cheap (150) Halos dont run that much either if you wanna upgrade the hoppers (30 40) Masks arent really a first priority for starting, but i do reccomend flexs. again just starting the "steely" tanks (40 new) dont go for much.
What you have should be fine. I would just get the steelies and another Force hopper. What you have bought will last for what you want it for. Have fun!!
As long as the gun shoots, and is reliable you have a good gun. Don't worry about speed or style. The biggest thing about paintball is to just go play and have fun! If your kids like paintball then they'll get into and read up about the new guns coming out and compare and argue and make their own decision if they want to keep playing and upgrade.
All you need are three guns, three masks, three tanks, paintballs, some air and your set.
