So, I just got this Hand me down Spyder Pilot ACS, its got the regular spyder 9.6v battery in there, i don't know how old it is ( the battery ) but it just doesn't seem to muster up enough oomph to release the bolt. So I'm leaning towards the board or the battery. . . capacitor still looks good, sooo I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say i probably need a new battery? Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

I have replaced thoes boards with the tadao board from ans gear for like 12 bucks! you can even use a regular duracell with that board, and it works great! any gun in my opinion is worth 12 bucks!

Yeah, that's the thing. . . is this gun is actually for my buddy, BigDukes' kid. . . . and in return I will be getting his 2010 Proto SLG. . . . SOOOOO yeah, i would say that even for 50 bucks? it is a great deal? Which is why I came to you good gentlemen. . . .
