Alright I don't know if anyone has tried one yet or owns one but reviews are always helpful for players looking into buying a new loader.
So I purchased the prophecy and am waiting for it to be delivered and will give my review as soon as I get to use it haha. I know why start a thread without a review of my own. Just thought I would get one started and get other players opinions and reviews. I chose the procphecy over the rotor maine becuase I am use to Halo technology. The rotor feeds faster than the prophecy can according to its specs, but the prophecy keeps up just fine. I got to use a prophecy the other week and loved it. was able to throw ropes with it just like when I borrow someones rotor. But for the price you can't beat the prophecy. I like being able to change the settings and not have just an on/off button. I like the toggle switch instead of a soldered button on a board. All in all its just a fantastic hopper and that is why I ordered one.
So feel free to add your own review and opinion on the Prophecy !
Well I got my v2.0 in today and low and behold......Empire comes out with a Z2 model that fixes some problems the 2.0 had and more......WTF lol anyone wanna buy a 2.0? Brand new in box no even a round shot through it lol. I might send it back for the new Z2 but I might not.
So far its easy to set up and program. I will give a review if I decide to keep the loader or not.
Well there isn't really any difference between the two but the shell and the drive system (minimal) changes. think I will keep it just so Im not without a hopper for another week.
Just shot a hopper through it. ramping shot flawlessly not one missfire not one jam the prophecy kept up with no problems at all.
Pros: -Toggle On/Off switch -Simple and easy programming and features -easy to take apart and clean and put back together -magnet lid -wide mouth for less spilling on the field -aluminum feed neck is nice -Fast feed no jams -minimal "popcorn" effect inside the loader -lighter -quiet
Cons: -The Z2 fixed the only issues I see with the 2.0 such as the way the feed neck shell is on the 2.0 makes it like 3 small pieces instead of one sturdy neck which I have heard many complain about the shell breaking. (hence the aluminum insert for the feed neck) -The buttons on the Z2 also have rubber inlaid around them so no water can get in ( if your playing in puddles don't use electric if your not willing to pay the price of repairs lol) -And thats about it
The Z2 is also lighter and "in gun" servicable. Meaning that the shell can be dismantled without removing it from the gun. Also, it has the capacity of 200 rounds with a smaller profile than it's predecessor(240). Nice features but not sure it's worth the price tag of 169.00 USD when compared to the rotor. Just saw a photo of the rotor next to the z2 and the z2 has a lower profile.
