Hey everybody, my name is Tim.. and i've been bitten by the paintball bug.
I had a huge interest in paintballing about 11 years ago, but my parents wouldn't let me have a gun. Time passed and my interests changed.. Played for the first time two weeks ago at LVPP and now I have an invert mini w/ a virtue board on the way. Along with a vforce profiler, and invert too hopper. I'm really excited about getting into this sport finally.. Still havnt picked out a tank yet, but I have some time.
tanks are awesome! just not too bog on the regs! i have had problems with all three of mine now!
The regs are the whole point of the ninja tanks. The bottle is made by a generic bottle manufacturer then the decals are applied in the later coats of the resin. The reg is the only thing ninja make. They are the most consistent reg on the market and they are self serviceable and that can be switched from high pressure to low pressure and to ultra low pressure. All though the ultra or super low pressure requires a new bonnet. The fill nipple's life span isn't as long as others but it's a trade off for the ability to self service your own reg. If your getting on make sure you get the aluminum bonnet, nothing wrong with the brass but my paint isn't starting to fade and a brass color is starting to show. Doesn't bother me one bit.
the regs do work awesome, WHEN they work. I keep having to buy rebuild kits for them. granted the rebuild kits are only 10 bucks, and I wont go broke buying them, it is a pain to have to all the time! I even had to send one of my tanks in to ninja for repair. witch they generously fixed free of charge. like I said not knocking ninja at all, I love my ninja tank. I wouldn't trade it for any other, they just have some really fragile regs.

Well, hopefully they've fixed the issue with the new tanks..
I haven't heard any issues with them. They fantastic tanks+regs.
The regs will foul if you don't cover your fill nipple, then get dirt in it, THEN fill it. Causing all that dirt to be pushed into the tank then evetually getting into your reg.
Also it can be from where you fill your tank. The compressor needs to have a filter or else it will suck in all the particulates in air.
You can service your bottle by unscrewing your reg. and thats ONLY if ninja has unscrewed it the first time for you. Then you can run water inside your tank to rinse it out, then let it dry out for a day. If i was BIG C i'd do that once a month AND break down the reg and clean and service it.
I've shot well over 30+ cases with mine and it's run 100% perfect without any maintance what so ever.
I use crossfire tanks and have had no issues as of yet. Like Pete said.. Take care of your equipment and it will be fine. " No I'm not saying that you do not take care of your equipment Big C.. You just have tank issues...LOL
