they could of made a hybrid version or something but instead they kept to their design and becuz they didnt comform with the needs of consumers they failed.
The hummer2 was based off a tahoe frame, tahoe engine, with hummer body panels. It never really lived up to the hummer heritage.
There is no point to having a hybrid suburban, the point of having a hybrid is to be "green" and save gas. but the reality of it, by buying a new car. especally a hybrid your polluting ALOT before you even start to drive it. And the new hybrid suburban costs $60k+ just to buy it, not to mention you have to replace the batteries every couple of years and it only gets 21MPG. Your better off buying a deisel Jag or range rover. they can get 30+mpg...
Hummers are Hum Vees. All else are dressed up SUVs. Hummers have a perpose that nothing else can fill. That said, H2s and H3s can go to the scrap heap and leave the rough stuff to the big boys. Jeeps can come too.
