More than likely we will be playing, as long as they don't pull the same stunt that they did last year and move it back to CP...  Anyone know the restrictions for the tourney (beginner or intermediate?) I see they don't have the D1, D2, D3, D4 anymore it is; Semi professional, Open, AA, AAA, Intermediate, Beginner.

RPL 2010 Player Classification & 2010 Team Classification

RPL member ID cards are required for all participating players including Beginners.

Player Classification:

Professional (Pro)—A player who was rostered on a National Level 7-player Pro or PSP Professional team in 2009 or 2010.

Semi-Professional (Semi-Pro)—A player who was rostered on a National Level 7-player or PSP Semi-Pro team in 2009 or 2010.

Open – A player who has not played on a National Level 7-player or PSP Pro or Semi-Pro previous to the current tournament within the previous 2 years. If you played Div 2 or higher in the NPPL or PSP in 2009 you are ranked Open in the RPL.

AA - A player who played RPL AA or AAA in 2009 in more than two events or in the XPSL Rookie division in more than two events in 2008 or a player that has played in the XPSL Intermediate division in two or less events in 2008 or Div 3, 4 or 5 in the NPPL or PSP in 2009. (RPL teams are allowed to play AA for two seasons before they are forced to move up a division)

AAA - A player that has played in two or less events in the RPL in 2009 or the XPSL Rookie division in 2008.

Intermediate – A player that played Beginner in RPL 2009 (Intermediate division has equipment and paint restrictions – See RPL rulebook for more info)

Beginner - A player that has played in two or less total events in their paintball career. (Beginner division has equipment and paint restrictions – See RPL rulebook for more info)

Current Season Rule: Once you play as a specific classification during the current season you may not be classified lower than that classification for the season. If you play at a higher classification then what you are currently ranked than you earn the higher ranking until the end of the season. Example: A player that is ranked AAA for event #1 and then plays on an AA team for event #2 is now ranked at the AA level for event #3.

Getting reclassified: A player that has extenuating circumstances may be reclassified by filing a Reclassification Request with the league.

Team Classification:
3-Player: All players on a 3-player team must be of the same division

5-Player: Division AA teams may have One Open ranked player, Division AAA teams may have One AA ranked player

Rosters:
A player may not be on more than one roster per event, and a player cannot change rosters during an event. Players may only be added up to that team’s first game. Rosters and waivers must be filled out (legibly and completely) and handed in to RPL staff at the scoring table before playing your first game. Failure to turn in or update your roster and waivers will result in zero points for all games played before the roster and waivers are corrected or turned in to RPL staff.
