My 2 boys and I are getting into paintball, both at fields and at our cabin in Utah. We have purchased a good portion of what we need and only have a few things left we need, but since I am a noobie, thought I would let some more knowledgible people let me know if I am going in the right direction. Just keep in mind, I am trying not to have to get a second mortgage for this, but also do not want to be replacing things in a year if we are still doing it.
Here is what we have so far:
2 09 Spyder Electra's with eyes 1 09 Pirahna Rampage GTI Plus 2 VL Force Electronic Hoppers 3 JT Masks 1 Scuba tank and scuba fill station (for use at the cabin) Pods belts etc
Still need 3 tanks and one hopper
You can't hurt my feelings, so any comments suggestions are welcome.
go with another cheap hopper you can find an old halo or egg for like 20$$$ and for tanks id recomend the carbon fiber so that if you upgrade you dont have to get a new tank but if you are trying to test it out and save money then go find used steel tanks.... i would get sometime of knee pads also. I am trying to think of more right now but that isnt working
I found some new 62/3000 steelies for 39.95, so will probably go for that.
I figured I need another electronic hopper to keep up with the markers since they are rated pretty fast (18/25 BPS if I remember right), although they have not even had paint through them yet, so I have no idea if the ratings are right
I had seen the VL on Paintball discounters for the same price, was not sure if I should go for one that does not run continuously. Read that the VL can be loud
Thanks for the info, sent and email on the Halo already to see if it is available

Well, I finally decided to order the 3 Guerilla 62/3000 steelies for 39.95 each. Should have them Friday so I am hoping yo make it to the CZ and/or the overton game this weekend and get some paint through these guns finally.
No game in Overton this week as far as I know..However ther is a game with the Las Vegas Dirt Devils...Check out that area...Same as Overton though.. Bring your own paint and air..But very cool to play.. Hope to see you out there....
No Overton is another 30 min drive.. Soooooo there is the field in Overton AKA O-town and there is a field out in the middle of nowhere (by the 93 Ely turn-off)
