Halfblock Trilly pump
Permalink

Alright, I finally got around to pulling my Trilogy apart and downloaded the dimensions for all the cuts. I got everything all trimmed and looking decent, but now I need a sled and bolt. Any ideas where to get one that's not gonna cost an arm and a leg? I'll have to get some pics up when it's done. It's starting to look a little crazy.

Does anyone on here play pump? Someone that can direct me in the "Do's and Dont's" of pump play.

As for a sled you'll have to make one yourself unless your looking to get one from the kind you cut your dimensions from. Post some pictures up when your done though, i'd really like to see what it looks like. i've never seen a halfblocked trilogy.

I've got an idea for the sled and bolt. I've been told there is a place in town that sells raw plastic stock. I'm going to see if I can get some and make a sled and bolt....this should be interesting.  Any Ideas on how the pump arm threads into the sled if it is a dual arm? Are the threads on one side reversed?  Here's a pic of what it looks like so far....

If i was you i would have just kept the aluminum that you cut to make the sled. it's not like it's a MQ'd yakuza cocker hitting +20bps. But i don't know how you'd attach a dual pump arm lol maybe make the pump rods attached to the sled but make them rotate from the back of the sled with a phillips head so you can screw them into the pump arm... i dunno...

technically all you need it the pump arm to be connected to the pull pin.... if you know what i mean... probably not im crazy lol

Right,..... I still have the back block and extra metal.. I'm going to take your advice Pete and cut the old bolt and try to make a sled out of the extra chunks (LOL)  My pump kit will be here today. YAY!  Ansgear has the PMP pump kits on sale for $29... Pretty good deal considering they go for $45-$60.

Here's some pics of what I've done today..
I cut the bolt and made my own retention system for the pin...works great!  I also was able to slot the hammer and trim the pin to fit the depth of the bolt. Tolerances are really tight but, So far...So good!
I also just picked up another Trilogy for $25... I have some wild ideas for this one.

Okey Dokey Articokey! I've got some more work done on the "Trilly"
Here's an update, I found a chunk of aluminum (pic 1) and drew out the cuts onto the metal, a few hours later I had a rough sled cut and ready to be filed and  trimmed. (pic 2) After all that was done I now have a decent looking sled that fits tight. (pic 3) All that needs to be done is tapping the hole for my pump arm and some anodizing and I'll be happy!
